Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and layup of composite materials.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Support the cutting, kitting, and labeling of materials for layup.
- Participate in vacuum bagging, resin infusion, and autoclave curing processes.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Support demolding, trimming, sanding, and finishing of composite parts.
- Conduct basic inspections of layup quality and document process steps.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or related program.
- Basic understanding of composite materials and fabrication processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with vacuum bagging or CAD software is a plus.
