Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics/layouts and bring-up circuit board assemblies for digital and mixed-signal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, reliability, and certification requirements.
- Support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch, focusing on volume manufacturing.
- Resolve cross-functional issues related to architecture, production, and development.
- Translate project requirements into technical specifications for system architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Utilize circuit simulation tools and scripting/automation for data analysis.
- Communicate technical information effectively and pay attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience in an electronics production environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
- Experience with interface technologies (CAN, USB, I2C, etc.) and aircraft system technologies (GPS, IMUs, etc.).
- Knowledge of circuit simulation tools and data collection automation.
- Understanding of transitioning R&D designs to manufacturable products.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail in technical specifications and project execution.
