Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics/layouts and bring-up circuit board assemblies for autonomous aircraft.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet safety, reliability, and certification requirements.
- Design for volume manufacturing and support factory engineers from prototyping to product launch.
- Resolve cross-functional issues related to architecture, production, and development.
- Translate project requirements into technical requirements for system architecture definitions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in design, verification, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Communicate technical details effectively across teams.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience in an electronics production environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Embedded/Computer Hardware Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with interface technologies (CAN, USB, I2C, etc.) and aircraft system technologies (GPS, IMUs, etc.).
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools and scripting/automation tools.
- Knowledge of overseas supplier base for transitioning R&D designs to manufacturable products.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail.
