Responsibilities
- Develop and execute overall manufacturing strategy for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor various engineering teams to foster collaboration and excellence.
- Establish quality management systems for consistent production of reliable drone systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product teams for seamless design-to-manufacturing transitions.
- Manage and optimize manufacturing budgets and resources to meet production targets.
- Implement safety protocols and compliance standards within the manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership in high-volume production environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Experience in scaling manufacturing operations and commercializing hardware products.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and statistical process control methodologies.
- Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and automation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
