Responsibilities
- Perform product design and development for customer-funded programs and new product projects.
- Specify designs and document all materials, components, and performance specifications.
- Create detailed drawings, procedures, and BOMs for manufacturing designs.
- Document and record all product data/design information using CAD and ERP systems.
- Identify and specify production steps, special equipment/tooling requirements, and test plans.
- Review and provide technical content for proposals and quotes to applications and sales teams.
- Actively participate in NPI projects, quoting, contract reviews, and general customer inquiries.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor of Science engineering degree in manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, or material science.
- Excellent knowledge of assembly design, materials, components, and testing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SolidWorks, and other relevant software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and drive initiatives forward.
