Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for reactor vessel internals design and analysis.
- Perform analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools and methods.
- Develop design documentation for safety and non-safety related hardware.
- Interface with technical leads, project managers, and customers regarding assigned work.
- Occasionally travel to customer and manufacturing vendor sites for support and presentations.
- Support occasional travel to a nuclear plant.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes is preferred.
