Responsibilities
- Execute project engineering functions to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Prepare design reports and technical specifications.
- Perform hand calculations and apply design-by-rule formulae.
- Conduct design activities in accordance with the design process, including cost estimating and detailed design.
- Create and/or revise procedures/drawings in support of design or field activities.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and functionally test electro/mechanical equipment.
- Interface with vendors and internal groups for necessary information to perform work assignments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience.
- Experience in the nuclear power plant and knowledge of nuclear industry requirements is desirable.
- Knowledge of non-destructive examination techniques is desirable.
- Familiarity with robotics, multi-axis scanners, and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend process improvements.
- Proficient in relevant software for inspection activities.
