Responsibilities
- Develop inspection acceptance criteria for nuclear power plant components.
- Perform calculations and apply ASME Code to reactor vessel internals design using FEA.
- Qualify replacement reactor internals components for operation.
- Evaluate degradation in plant components for continued operation.
- Support generic projects for industry guidance on nuclear power plant components.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 0-2 years of applicable experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of materials science is beneficial but not required.
