Responsibilities
- Develop inspection acceptance criteria for nuclear power plant components.
- Perform calculations and apply the ASME Code to reactor vessel internals design and analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Qualify replacement reactor internals components for operational safety.
- Evaluate degradation in plant components for continued operation.
- Support projects developing industry guidance for long-term operation of reactor vessel internals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Communicate findings and analyses effectively to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 0-2 years of applicable experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of materials science is beneficial but not required.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment.
