Responsibilities
- Apply the fission matrix approach
- Train on reactor physics, microreactor technologies, and methods development
- Collaborate with other research units within the division
- Engage in computer modeling and method development
- Report to the Fuels Technical manager
- Work full-time in a hybrid setting during the summer
- Support the mission of providing clean energy solutions
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus in materials science or a related discipline
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completion of at least sophomore year of undergraduate studies
- Experience with material properties and behavior, including mechanical, thermal, and chemical characteristics
- Strong interest in clean energy solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and innovation
