Responsibilities
- Apply the fission matrix approach.
- Train on reactor physics and microreactor technologies.
- Develop methods related to fuel engineering.
- Engage in computer modeling activities.
- Collaborate with other research units within the division.
- Report to the Fuels Technical manager.
- Participate in a paid full-time hybrid internship during the summer.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, focusing on materials science or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must have completed at least sophomore year of undergraduate studies.
- Experience with material properties and behavior, including mechanical, thermal, and chemical characteristics.
- Interest in clean energy solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
