Responsibilities
- Apply the fission matrix approach
- Train on reactor physics, microreactor technologies, and methods development
- Gain exposure to the work of other research units within the division
- Engage in computer modeling and method development
- Collaborate with the Fuels Technical manager
- Participate in daily activities related to fuel engineering
- Contribute to innovative clean energy solutions
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, focusing on materials science or a related discipline
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completion of at least sophomore year of undergraduate studies
- Experience with material properties and behavior (mechanical, thermal, and chemical characteristics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
