Responsibilities
- Support the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale projects.
- Perform physical arrangement of nuclear island structures and equipment using 3D design software.
- Conduct hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents.
- Author, review, and verify engineering designs using proprietary digital design architecture (WNEXUS).
- Prepare reports to meet regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements.
- Provide engineering support by responding to RFIs and addressing design changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Willingness to pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Proficiency in 3D design software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
