Responsibilities
- Support the design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear and non-nuclear projects
- Perform physical arrangement of nuclear island structures, equipment, and piping using 3D design software
- Conduct hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents
- Author, review, and verify engineering designs using Westinghouse's digital design architecture (WNEXUS)
- Prepare reports to meet regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements
- Provide engineering support to design, fabrication, and construction organizations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Architectural preferred)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Willingness to pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work with 3D design software
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and criteria documents
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
