Responsibilities
- Support design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of projects.
- Perform physical arrangement of nuclear island structures and equipment using 3D design software.
- Conduct hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents.
- Utilize Westinghouse's proprietary digital design architecture (WNEXUS) for engineering designs.
- Prepare reports to meet regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements.
- Provide engineering support and respond to requests for information (RFIs) and design changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Willingness to pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency in 3D design software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Commitment to safety and quality practices.
