Responsibilities
- Iterate quickly on concepts, prototypes, and tests.
- Demonstrate curiosity, communication, and a willingness to ask questions.
- Take ownership of tasks and be open to learning.
- Develop test fixtures, test methods, and document results in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Provide design recommendations and feedback during design reviews.
- Comfortable with mechanical assembly in various environments, including clean rooms.
- Participate in clinical lab activities and procedure development.
Job Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering principles (e.g., motors, mechanisms, material selection).
- Exposure to Solidworks (or equivalent 3D CAD software) for creating models and detailed drawings.
- Clear communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data collection, test execution, and result submission.
- Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping methods.
- Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages.
- A passion for learning and teaching within a collaborative team environment.
