Responsibilities
- Iterate quickly on Concepts, Prototypes, and Tests
- Demonstrate curiosity, communication, and a willingness to ask questions
- Take ownership of tasks and be open to learning
- Develop test fixtures and methods in collaboration with stakeholders and document results
- Provide design recommendations and feedback during design reviews
- Comfortable with mechanical assembly, primarily outside but sometimes in a Clean Room environment
- Participate in Clinical Lab Activities and Procedure Development
Job Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Principles (e.g., motors, mechanisms, material selection)
- Exposure to Solidworks (or equivalent 3D CAD software)
- Clear communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with data collection, test execution, and result submission
- Familiarity with 3D printing and other rapid prototyping methods
- Familiarity with Python or similar programming language
- Passion for learning and teamwork with diverse experiences
