Responsibilities
- Take ownership of products from concept to mass production.
- Make key design decisions in a fast-paced team environment.
- Prototype and analyze mechanical systems for product requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineers and Industrial Designers.
- Design parts for mass-manufacturing and lead validation testing.
- Participate in tooling bring-up and part inspection.
- Learn about shipping products and manufacturing processes.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Availability for a Winter Co-Op, preferably for 4-12 months.
- Strong understanding of strength of materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and hardware testing.
- Passion for user-centric design.
