Responsibilities
- Take ownership of products from concept to mass production.
- Join a small, fast-paced team and make key design decisions.
- Prototype and analyze mechanical systems for product requirements.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Industrial Designers.
- Design parts for mass-manufacturing and lead validation testing.
- Learn about tooling bring-up and part inspection.
- Focus on user-centric design and contribute to product aesthetics and usability.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Available for a Winter Co-Op, preferably for 4-12 months.
- Strong understanding of strength of materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing.
- Experience with 3D CAD software.
- Experience with rapid prototyping, building, and testing hardware.
- Passion for user-centric design.
- Startup mindset and readiness to tackle new challenges.
