Responsibilities
- Lead technical reviews that shape the future of artificial-gravity space habitats.
- Oversee qualification and test completeness for flight systems.
- Identify risks early and help teams converge on safe, resilient solutions.
- Serve as the architect of engineering standards and design guides.
- Build and refine processes to ensure engineering rigor at scale.
- Work cross-functionally to improve reliability across engineering teams.
- Capture lessons learned to strengthen future standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, design ownership, or reliability-focused development.
- Experience conducting design and qualification reviews.
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with hardware design, assembly, and testing.
- Familiarity with reliability methodologies and human-rated hardware standards.
- Strong scripting and data analysis skills (Python, MATLAB, Excel).
