Responsibilities
- Responsible Engineer for the flight engine controller and instrumentation.
- Work with the test team to integrate the engine controller with the test stand.
- Design, build, and test circuit boards and write software for engine controller and throttles.
- Procure, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot engine instrumentation.
- Create electronics schematics and models/drawings of parts and assemblies.
- Participate in engine testing and support troubleshooting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the team to provide updates on progress and issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 2+ years of experience with electronics design, development, fabrication, assembly, or test.
- Hands-on engineering experience.
- Proficiency in electronics and circuit boards.
- Coding skills in MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, C, and Arduino.
- Experience with CAD (NX preferred) and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build professional relationships.
