Responsibilities
- Design and build systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
- Solve real-world engineering problems under mentorship.
- Collaborate with teams on avionics, structures, ECLSS, thermal, and propulsion systems.
- Participate in hardware development and testing.
- Engage in mission operations and safety assurance.
- Apply CAD software for modeling and simulation.
- Contribute to various engineering disciplines as needed.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in California.
- Experience in technical projects outside the classroom preferred.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools and equipment.
