Responsibilities

  • Design and build systems for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
  • Solve real-world engineering problems under mentorship.
  • Collaborate with teams on avionics, structures, ECLSS, thermal, and propulsion systems.
  • Participate in hardware development and testing.
  • Engage in mission operations and safety assurance.
  • Apply CAD software for modeling and simulation.
  • Contribute to various engineering disciplines as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in California.
  • Experience in technical projects outside the classroom preferred.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering tools and equipment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude.
