Responsibilities
- Support Production with machine setups, troubleshooting, operator training, and other functions.
- Identify, implement, and document process improvements including cycle time, tool life, process capability, and automation.
- Select, qualify, and launch new equipment in the factory.
- Collaborate with customers to suggest modifications to specifications to improve cost, quality, and lead time.
- Communicate design changes and updates to relevant internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with manufacturing teams for corrective actions.
- Generate drawings with CAD software and operate CNC machines.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand part prints.
- Experience in designing processes and operating CNC machines (Swiss, Vertical Milling, 5-axis).
- Proficiency with CAD software; Solidworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software; Gibbs Cam or Esprit is a plus.
- A driven attitude for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is desired, with experience as a substitute for a degree.
