Responsibilities
- Hands-on build up and modification of boards for rapid iteration of designs.
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for high-altitude balloons.
- Lead PCB design, schematic capture, and layout review processes.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
- Support integration of electrical systems with mechanical and firmware subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during development, integration, and flight operations.
- Document designs, processes, and test results in accordance with engineering best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical system design, prototyping, and testing.
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident and located near Denver, CO.
