Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and test control algorithms for electric motors and variable speed drives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate control algorithms into existing systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the variable speed drive and system interfaces.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure compatibility between control algorithms and hardware.
- Analyze motor performance data and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers of variable speed drives through technical specifications.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in motor and system controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in motor controls engineering.
- Strong knowledge of control theory and algorithms.
- Experience with simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Proficient in programming languages like C/C++/Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
