Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain electrical systems for power up to 230kV.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine and emergency service on critical electrical systems.
- Utilize diagnostic test equipment and interpret results.
- Conduct assessments of building systems operations and perform preventive maintenance.
- Wire single and three-phase motors and assist with major repairs.
- Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties as required.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma and current Journeyman Electrician’s certificate.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and safety standards.
- Ability to operate tools and test equipment used in electrical trades.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies.
- Understanding of Arc Flash hazard boundaries and appropriate PPE.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
