Facilities Electrical Engineer

The Facilities Electrical Engineer at TSMC is responsible for managing electrical power systems in the semiconductor fabrication facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with standards. The role includes developing documentation, conducting root cause analysis, and providing design support.

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
• Develop system documentation including PM job plans and operating instructions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Lead root cause analysis on equipment failures.
• Manage the electrical load database and ensure system redundancy.
• Provide training and troubleshooting for electricians.
• Participate in emergency response team duties as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of industry standards and electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in technical writing and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
