Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end systems engineering and integration for Missile Defense.
- Ensure system design is test-informed and operationally realistic.
- Oversee system requirements development and integrated test planning.
- Manage critical system budgets related to mass, power, and margins.
- Integrate technical, test, manufacturing, and operational risks into a coherent system-level risk posture.
- Represent the system in readiness reviews and mission authorization forums.
- Provide leadership with assessments of system maturity and readiness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace systems development.
- Demonstrated experience in fielding new systems and supporting system-level tests.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles applied to test execution.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing system-level budgets in a test-driven environment.
- Familiarity with missile defense systems and rapid prototyping efforts.
