Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall technical lead and design authority for the SBI program.
- Guide the program from early concept development through to operational deployment.
- Lead the integration of requirements across various subsystems.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve technical risks in design and manufacturing.
- Ensure technical alignment and mission assurance through cross-functional leadership.
- Act as the primary technical interface with government customers and mission partners.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in aerospace or missile defense.
- Proven track record of managing complex aerospace/defense programs through their lifecycle.
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs and mission assurance standards.
- Command of multiple domains within aerospace engineering.
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
