Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall technical lead and design authority for the SBI program.
- Guide the program through all phases from concept development to operational deployment.
- Lead the integration of requirements across various subsystems.
- Identify and resolve technical risks related to design and operations.
- Collaborate with program management and engineering teams to ensure alignment and mission assurance.
- Act as the primary technical interface with government customers and mission partners.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in aerospace or missile defense.
- Proven track record with complex aerospace/defense programs.
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs and mission assurance standards.
- Command of multiple domains related to aerospace systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility preferred.
