Responsibilities
- Serve as the overall technical lead and design authority for the SBI program.
- Guide the program from early concept development through to operational deployment.
- Lead the integration of requirements across subsystems including propulsion and avionics.
- Anticipate and resolve technical risks across design and operations.
- Collaborate with program management and engineering organizations for alignment and assurance.
- Act as the primary technical interface with government customers and stakeholders.
- Build and mentor a high-performing technical team.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in aerospace or missile defense.
- Proven track record in managing complex aerospace/defense programs through the full life cycle.
- Experience with DoD acquisition programs and mission assurance standards.
- Command of multiple domains related to aerospace systems and missile defense.
- Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility preferred.
