Responsibilities
- Conduct CAD work for robotic projects under guidance.
- Integrate 3rd party electromechanical devices into designs.
- Create shell designs for aesthetics and mounting solutions.
- Fit electrical components into robot chassis and navigation stacks.
- Design modular mounting systems with maintenance in mind.
- Perform wiring of components and design cable runs.
- Weatherproof robotic systems.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion360, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or PTC Creo).
- Ability to conceptualize and discuss 3D parts for design and prototyping.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Strong desire to learn and improve engineering skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant projects is required.
- Transportation to the company location in Downers Grove is necessary.
