Responsibilities
- Create and modify HMI and PLC programs using various software and hardware.
- Design hardwire and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Conduct risk assessments related to project hardware and installation.
- Supervise installation tasks for engineers and electricians.
- Provide full line commissioning support for press upgrade projects.
- Review and verify designs during customer buyoffs.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical hardware design and modifications.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in Canada and Mexico.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
