Responsibilities
- Create and modify HMI programs using GP-pro software on Proface hardware.
- Develop new and modify existing PLC programs using various software on Allen-Bradley and Siemens hardware.
- Design and modify Safety PLC programs, ensuring compliance during customer buyoffs.
- Create and review hardwire and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Perform risk assessments on projects regarding bid selection and installation timing.
- Supervise installation tasks and provide direction to Engineers, Electricians, and Millwrights.
- Support full line commissioning before, during, and after installation of press upgrade projects.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens preferred).
- Proficiency in electrical hardware design and modification.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in Canada and Mexico.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
