Controls Engineer

The Controls Engineer will design and implement automated PLC solutions, commission and program robot arms, and contribute to system architecture design while troubleshooting hardware and industrial process equipment.

• Design and implement automated PLC solutions.
• Commission and program robot arms.
• Contribute to team meetings, design reviews, and provide controls input to system architecture design.
• Troubleshoot issues with hardware and industrial process equipment.
• Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
• Test, document, and maintain robotic safety systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics or equivalent).
• 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Technical proficiency in a software application for PLC programming.
• Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and commission systems.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards (ANSI, NFPA).
