Responsibilities
- Lead the Mechanical Engineering group focused on mechanical engineering.
- Develop mechanical and systems engineering competencies within the team.
- Lead all aspects of team goals, performance evaluations, and talent acquisition.
- Ensure high-quality output from team members.
- Provide effort estimations and resource allocation to support project portfolios.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in team processes, collaborations, or competencies.
- Collaborate with industry partners, research centers, and universities to develop innovative concepts and modules.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in complex mechanical system designs.
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering; semiconductor industry experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading teams in a high-tech R&D environment.
- Strong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Knowledge of optomechanical and electron microscopy technologies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects.
- Outstanding skills in inspiring, persuading, and motivating teams.
