Responsibilities
- Lead the Mechanical Engineering group and develop competencies within the team.
- Manage team goals, performance evaluations, and talent acquisition.
- Ensure high-quality outputs from team members.
- Provide effort estimations and resource allocation for projects.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Collaborate with industry partners and research centers for innovation.
- Engage with project leads and program managers for productive collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in complex designs.
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in semiconductors.
- Proven leadership experience in a high-tech R&D environment.
- Strong understanding of New Product Development processes.
- Knowledge of optomechanical and electron microscopy technologies preferred.
- Ability to manage complex engineering projects effectively.
- Strong skills in inspiring and motivating teams.
