Responsibilities
- Provide support to launch vehicle and/or spacecraft program customers
- Participate in the analysis and modeling of propulsion system performance, applications, and technologies
- Develop tools to assess performance of propulsion systems in ground tests and flight
- Support propulsion laboratory research efforts, including experiment setup and execution
- Present findings to team members, customers, and leadership
- Adapt to changing organizational needs and responsibilities
- Engage in training and mentorship opportunities
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or Ph.D. program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline
- Completed Bachelor's degree by internship start date
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with propulsion systems or related engineering concepts is a plus
