Responsibilities

  • Provide support to launch vehicle and/or spacecraft program customers
  • Participate in the analysis and modeling of propulsion system performance, applications, and technologies
  • Develop tools to assess performance of propulsion systems in ground test and flight
  • Support propulsion laboratory research efforts, including set-up and execution of experiments
  • Present findings to team members, customers, and leadership
  • Adapt to changing organizational needs as duties may evolve
  • Receive training and mentorship

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time in a Master's or Ph.D. program in aerospace or mechanical engineering
  • Completed Bachelor's degree by internship start date
  • Full-time availability for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Proficiency with engineering tools and programming languages such as MATLAB and/or Python
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
