Responsibilities
- Provide support to launch vehicle and/or spacecraft program customers
- Participate in the analysis and modeling of propulsion system performance, applications, and technologies
- Develop tools to assess performance of propulsion systems in ground test and flight
- Support propulsion laboratory research efforts, including set-up and execution of experiments
- Present findings to team members, customers, and leadership
- Adapt to changing organizational needs as duties may evolve
- Receive training and mentorship
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Master's or Ph.D. program in aerospace or mechanical engineering
- Completed Bachelor's degree by internship start date
- Full-time availability for a minimum of 10 weeks outside of university term
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Proficiency with engineering tools and programming languages such as MATLAB and/or Python
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Transcripts required
