Responsibilities
- Research and implement reinforcement learning algorithms for dynamic systems optimization.
- Develop simulation and hardware in the loop environments for RL performance evaluation.
- Benchmark RL results against conventional techniques.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to translate concepts into silicon innovations.
- Develop algorithms for sensor data calibration and analysis.
- Define hardware requirements and work on prototype systems.
- Monitor competitive landscape for performance benchmarks and new applications.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with algorithm and signal processing background.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Strong foundation in reinforcement learning and control theory.
- Experience with embedded control and real-time experimentation.
- Proficiency in Python and Matlab/Simulink.
- Creative problem-solving and data-driven experimentation skills.
- Experience in debugging hardware/software and delivering prototypes.
