Responsibilities
- Develop control-oriented models of chassis systems for analysis and estimation.
- Evaluate novel subsystems related to vehicle motion to inform product architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics Engineers to ensure effective sensing and actuation designs.
- Develop and implement control algorithms to optimize system capabilities.
- Create estimation and monitoring algorithms to enhance system safety and reliability.
- Test, debug, and calibrate algorithms in simulation and in-car environments.
- Ensure algorithm stability and performance using SIL and HIL tools.
Job Requirements
- Strong background in linear systems analysis, state-estimation, and control design.
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control algorithm modeling.
- Experience with the design, analysis, implementation, and debugging of control systems.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of electric drivetrains and chassis actuators.
- Proficiency with engineering development tools like Matlab/Simulink/Python.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience.
