Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and industrialize power converter hardware.
- Oversee the hardware development process from specification to production.
- Capture hardware requirements and build detailed circuit models.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams for successful product design and validation.
- Model new power electronics topologies for improved performance.
- Select components and design schematics and PCB layouts.
- Validate hardware through prototyping and testing.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6 or more years of hands-on hardware experience in power converter design.
- Strong understanding of power converter topologies and practical design.
- Experience with high voltage power semiconductor selection and circuit design.
- Knowledge of magnetics and capacitors for power conversion.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Understanding of environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for relevant applications.
