Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements.
- Participate in prototype builds, component fabrication, testing, and validation.
- Provide hands-on support and perform data analysis.
- Develop designs in CAD for detailed parts and assemblies.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and simulations.
- Create 2D drawings for production and inspection methods.
- Support development of engineering and reliability test plans and troubleshoot design issues.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in CAD, with Catia experience preferred.
- Knowledge of design for plastic injection molded and sheet metal stamping parts.
- Experience in drafting 2D drawings with GD&T.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other modeling tools preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
- Experience taking designs from concept to mass production.
