Responsibilities
- Define product requirements and develop implementations with cross-functional teams
- Participate in prototype builds, component fabrication, testing, and validation
- Perform data analysis and provide hands-on support
- Develop detailed CAD designs for parts and assemblies
- Conduct tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and simulations
- Create 2D drawings for production and inspection
- Support DFM reviews and optimize components for performance and integration
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficient in CAD, with Catia experience preferred
- Knowledge of plastic injection molded, sheet metal stamping, and cast parts design
- Experience in drafting 2D drawings with GD&T
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other modeling tools preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in taking designs from concept to mass production
