Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing and procurement process for Low Voltage PCBAs and components.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for high-performance camera modules.
- Drive strategic negotiations with suppliers to align cost and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to define specifications for camera systems.
- Conduct market research on advancements in camera module technologies.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with Tesla’s vision for autonomous driving.
- Spearhead cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
- 4+ years of experience with PCBA.
- Preferred background in electronics sourcing for autonomous vehicles.
- Experience in developing “should-cost” models for Capital Equipment.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract terms negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills.
