Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve field quality and performance of Tesla products.
- Build automated software tools for complex analysis of real-time fleet data.
- Apply statistical analysis to inform reliability modeling and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Reliability and Design engineers on numeric models of products.
- Contribute to the automation and standardization of data pipelines.
- Monitor the efficacy of mitigation measures and own warranty accrual.
- Work with cross-functional teams to summarize impacts on lifetime performance.
Job Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, architectures, and languages like SQL and Python.
- Solid understanding of statistics and reliability physics.
- General knowledge of data pipelining and data visualization techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with statistical analysis methods such as Weibull forecasting.
- Knowledge of physics and engineering principles.
