Responsibilities
- Develop software tools for vehicle diagnostics, testing, and validation.
- Integrate vehicle firmware tests in manufacturing and support new program launches.
- Validate firmware in manufacturing through integration and release of new firmware versions.
- Develop solutions to bridge manufacturing process gaps and maintain firmware quality.
- Troubleshoot high priority production situations through root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Influence the end-to-end process of firmware integration into vehicle subsystems.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong scripting skills in at least one common language (e.g., Python, Ruby).
- Experience testing and validating embedded software in electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with varied technical backgrounds.
- Detail-oriented with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in high volume automotive manufacturing and process improvements.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing metrics.
