Responsibilities
- Define system and component level requirements through analysis and testing.
- Prototype and characterize components and systems to meet target metrics.
- Design and develop early system prototypes to mitigate risks of new technologies.
- Analyze impacts of changes in electrical, software, or processes.
- Debug hardware and software interactions during design and deployment.
- Ensure functional and performance readiness of systems throughout the product life cycle.
- Conduct failure modes analysis and complete DFMEAs/HARAs for safe subsystem design.
Job Requirements
- Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical and embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience debugging complex subsystems with microprocessors.
- Ability to read and interpret C/C++ or similar languages.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar tools for modeling.
- Proficient in data visualization techniques.
- Experience in failure modes analysis, HARA, and FTA.
