Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production lines operate effectively for high-quality cells.
- Apply engineering principles to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of manufacturing quality issues using structured problem-solving tools.
- Track quality performance metrics and prioritize improvement activities.
- Conduct FMEA activities to identify design and manufacturing risks.
- Implement product and process changes to enhance manufacturability and performance.
- Develop control plans and inspection standards to ensure product reliability.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO/TS or IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
- Training in structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
- Strong data analysis skills using tools like Tableau, SQL, or MATLAB.
- Experience in transitioning products from prototype to production.
- Background in automotive or high-volume manufacturing is preferred.
