Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams as the Cathode Quality expert to ensure high-quality production lines.
- Define and establish incoming quality control tasks for manufacturing capability and product reliability.
- Manage non-conforming material processes and resolve material-related issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of manufacturing quality issues.
- Monitor and report on First Pass Quality (FPQ) and Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ).
- Participate in audits of Tesla and supplier manufacturing lines.
- Support new product launches and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
Job Requirements
- Experience in new product launch from prototype to production.
- Strong communication skills and experience in report creation.
- Ability to manage and interpret data using technological tools.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 8D).
- Familiarity with lab material characterization techniques.
- Programming skills (SQL, Python, MATLAB, R).
- Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing is highly desired.
