Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical parts for in-house cylindrical battery cells.
- Advance technologies for improved product performance and safety.
- Engage in prototyping, testing, and analysis of battery cell designs.
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines including electrochemistry and manufacturing.
- Conduct research and benchmarking of competitive solutions.
- Define and release technical specifications for new products.
- Participate in sourcing components and managing supplier relationships.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics.
- Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics and heat transfer.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with engineering metals and polymers.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
