Responsibilities

  • Design and validate controls for utility requirements and ensure grid stability.
  • Conduct Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (CHIL) testing and maintain test setups.
  • Identify and resolve control and communication issues using troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective plant control solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automation processes and documentation for testing.
  • Utilize simulation tools for control design and testing.
  • Work with hardware-software integrated setups and debugging.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience in hardware-software integration and debugging.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C, or C++.
  • Expertise in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or PSCAD.
  • Hands-on experience with network protocols and real-time simulation platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
