Responsibilities
- Design start-to-launch electromechanical parts and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical integration analysis including thermal and design for assembly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware engineers.
- Oversee prototyping and manage RC, Beta, and Pilot builds.
- Present data and trade-offs to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure designs meet requirements for manufacturing, automation, and reliability.
- Take projects from concept to production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks, and design for manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of electrical design fundamentals and PCBAs.
- Strong knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.
- Analytical background for successful design.
- Passion for electro-mechanical product design.
