Responsibilities
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines on new product development initiatives.
- Lead design and development of switching power supplies and class-D audio amplifiers.
- Participate in all phases of New Product Development, including technical proposals and product architecture.
- Design and optimize power electronics systems using wide bandgap semiconductors.
- Develop control loops for self-oscillating class-D amplifiers.
- Define and implement high-performance power factor correction circuits.
- Conduct power electronics modeling and simulations to ensure performance objectives are met.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in collaborative, multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Design and simulation experience for switching power supplies and Class-D audio amplifiers.
- Proficient in PCB layout for high-power applications and schematic capture tools.
- Expertise in electromagnetic analysis and troubleshooting for power electronics.
- Familiarity with embedded control for power electronics.
- Strong design review practices for all design artifacts.
- Knowledge of audio performance specifications and measurement.
