Responsibilities
- Drive specification sheets for sourcing mechanical equipment (static and rotating).
- Develop financial estimates for equipment for technoeconomic analysis.
- Lead process equipment selection and design tradeoffs.
- Compile RFQ documents for vendors and evaluate technical bids.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables and equipment from vendors.
- Coordinate with various engineering teams for process equipment installation.
- Develop commissioning plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on plant design.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles (mass & energy balances, thermodynamics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with mechanical design software (e.g., Autodesk, Solidworks).
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 50% travel).
