Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to identify mechanical material requirements.
- Develop and issue purchase requisitions and RFQs for mechanical vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor project progress and track requisition statuses.
- Implement quality control procedures for equipment design and selection.
- Familiarize with procurement best practices from project inception to completion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for oil & gas or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, OSHA).
- Good interface knowledge with other engineering disciplines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites up to 20%.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
