Responsibilities
- Design electromechanical parts and assemblies, including plastics and PCBA.
- Conduct mechanical integration analysis, including thermal and design for assembly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware engineers.
- Oversee all stages of product development, including prototyping and managing builds.
- Present data and trade-offs to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure designs meet manufacturing, automation, and reliability standards.
- Take projects from concept to production, with a focus on simpler solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks, and design for manufacturing.
- Basic understanding of electrical design fundamentals and PCBAs.
- Strong knowledge of materials and fabrication methods.
- Analytical skills for design optimization.
- Experience with FFC's, FPC's, and rigid-flex technologies preferred.
