Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the product lifecycle including concept generation and detailed design.
- Balance product attributes like safety, functionality, and cost.
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, including GD&T and BOMs.
- Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate findings into designs.
- Collaborate with various teams for system integration and compatibility.
- Produce technical documentation for communication and official use.
- Engage in problem-solving for existing products within the seating domain.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience with full-cycle design project involvement.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience in mechatronics, including circuit and PCB design.
- Knowledge of biomechanics and ergonomics.
- Proficiency in designing with composite structures and soft goods.
- Excellent technical communication skills and ability to manage tight timelines.
