Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of the product lifecycle: concept generation, design, validation, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Balance and negotiate product attributes such as safety, functionality, and cost.
- Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, including GD&T and BOM ownership.
- Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate findings into product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and compatibility.
- Produce technical documentation for official use and communication.
- Address technical challenges using first-principles thinking and manage progress through tight timelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year on a full-cycle design project.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience in mechatronics and circuit design.
- Knowledge of biomechanics and ergonomics.
- Proficiency with composite structures and soft goods design.
- Strong technical communication skills and organizational abilities.
