Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and packaging of components to meet product and system level requirements.
- Lead product integration reviews and mediate trade-off situations.
- Develop packaging master sections for Class A surface development.
- Support and execute virtual builds, development bucks, and physical prototypes.
- Manage top-level product CAD and BOM, ensuring completeness and compatibility.
- Collaborate with design engineering, styling, and manufacturing teams.
- Refine designs prior to tooling and manufacture.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in energy products, high voltage battery, or robot integration and packaging.
- Understanding of design principles supporting functional product systems design.
- Knowledge of part manufacturing processes from circuit boards to large castings.
- Outstanding design, packaging, and 3D modeling skills; CATIA experience is a plus.
- Proven problem-solving and strong communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
