Responsibilities
- Engineer and develop interior systems that meet styling and functional targets.
- Collaborate early in development with design and engineering teams.
- Participate in the iterative process to balance form, function, performance, and cost.
- Implement processes and material selections for automotive interior craftsmanship.
- Complete and release designs, documentation, and engineering change requests.
- Utilize DFSS methodologies during design, validation, and launch.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for manufacturing feasibility.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in product development/design engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and technical aptitude.
- Understanding of design technologies in Product Engineering.
- Experience with complex assemblies and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and creativity skills.
- Ability to push boundaries and innovate in design.
