Responsibilities
- Engineer, develop, and execute interior systems that meet styling and functional targets.
- Collaborate with Design/Styling and Engineering teams during the product cycle.
- Participate in the iterative design process with stakeholders for optimal balance of form and function.
- Implement processes and material selections for automotive interior craftsmanship.
- Complete and release designs for interior components and sub-systems.
- Utilize DFSS methodologies during design, validation, and program launch.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in product development/design engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Familiarity with design technologies in Product Engineering.
- Experience with complex assemblies and engineering principles.
- Excellent communication skills and creativity.
- Ability to innovate and push design boundaries.
