Responsibilities
- Design and prototype exterior components for vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
- Participate in the iterative design process with the styling studio.
- Utilize DFSS methodologies during design and validation phases.
- Interpret CAE simulation results for product design integration.
- Manage supplier relationships for product development.
- Ensure alignment with manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Catia V5/V6 or other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of plastic part design and injection molding.
- Experience following the design process from concept to production.
- Familiarity with design challenges across various materials and processes.
- Understanding of DFSS methodologies in automotive program design.
