Responsibilities
- Model and design mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical design analysis, including finite element analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product specifications.
- Develop engineering test plans and assist in prototype builds.
- Solve test failures and production problems.
- Create high-quality drawing packages and manufacturing instructions.
- Design for high-volume assembly and outdoor environments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in high-volume assembly and manufacturing design.
- Knowledge of environmental sealing for outdoor products.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably CATIA V5/V6.
- Experience in various manufacturing processes.
- Structural analysis expertise including FEA.
- Knowledge of electrical principles related to renewable energy systems.
