Responsibilities
- Model and design mechanical components and assemblies, including various materials.
- Conduct mechanical design analysis and finite element analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product specifications.
- Develop engineering test plans and assist in prototype builds.
- Address test failures and production issues.
- Create detailed drawing packages and manufacturing instructions.
- Ensure designs meet reliability and quality targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in high-volume assembly and manufacturing design.
- Knowledge of designing for outdoor environments with environmental seals.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics, heat transfer, and fluids.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling, experience with CATIA V5/V6 is a plus.
- Expertise in structural analysis and FEA.
- Understanding of electrical principles in renewable energy systems.
