Responsibilities
- Model and design mechanical components and assemblies for the Supercharger system.
- Perform mechanical design analysis including finite element analysis and design for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product specifications and achieve targets.
- Develop engineering test plans and assist in prototype builds.
- Solve test failures and production problems through root cause analysis.
- Create high-quality drawing packages and manufacturing instructions.
- Work on designs that meet outdoor environmental standards and high-volume assembly requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in designing for high-volume assembly and manufacturing.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics, heat transfer, and fluids.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling; experience with CATIA V5/V6 is a plus.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as metal stamping and plastic injection molding.
- Experience in defining test plans and analyzing test data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with thermal, systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
