Responsibilities
- Model and design mechanical components and assemblies.
- Select and apply off-the-shelf components for mechanical systems.
- Conduct mechanical design analysis including thermal and structural evaluations.
- Solve electronics packaging issues related to thermal management and routing.
- Develop engineering test plans for new designs.
- Create drawing packages and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to transition designs from prototype to mass production.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and PDM software.
- Experience with machine design.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Solid foundation in engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
